Steinway Pianos Return to Pittsburgh with Grand Opening of Fort Pitt Piano Company

PITTSBURGH, PA. – Oct. 26, 2017 – Steinway and Sons Pianos has returned to Pittsburgh with the Grand Opening of Fort Pitt Piano Company in McCandless Crossing (McKnight Road). Handmade in the USA, Steinway pianos are represented at many Universities worldwide, including Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne Universities. Additionally, 97% of concert soloists chose to play on a Steinway piano vs. all other brands.

Fort Pitt Piano Company has been selected as the exclusive retailer for Steinway and Sons in Western Pennsylvania. Fort Pitt Piano Company has been designated a Steinway and Sons Premier Dealer and will offer the full family of Steinway and Sons pianos including Steinway, Boston and Essex.

In conjunction with Fort Pitt Piano Company’s Grand Opening, Steinway will be offering a special on site “In-Store Selection.” Steinway has sent six Model B pianos from their New York factory that can be compared by players and institutions. This Selection is typically offered only at Steinway’s facility.

Fort Pitt Piano Company will be opening its doors November 1, 2017. They will be holding their Grand Opening Sale Wednesday, November 8th through Sunday, November 12th. Steinway will also be offering special financing, incentives and pricing for the Grand Opening of Fort Pitt Piano Company.

Managing the location will be Joe Ravita, Sr. First selling Steinway and Son’s pianos in the early 70s through the Joseph Horne Company, Ravita Sr. eventually went on to own his retail piano company then to manage Piano and Organ Distributors in North Carolina.
